This car for me was a safe haven in all aspects of the word. I was planning my wedding, applying to graduate schools and my parents were splitting up. I remember I purchased this vehicle during a kind of stressful period. For me, the Chevy Tax scores 10/10 in style, reliability, comfort, fuel economy, functionality, space, and quality. I often say that if I won the lottery, I would just buy a few more of the same car in different colors. It even has features like regular outlets, Bluetooth, seat heaters, touchscreen, and more. It still looks like a newer car on the inside and outside.
Additionally, it is so comfortable! I remember the day I realized it had a feature for lumbar support that you can adjust - I was shocked! The interior is all leather, which has been nice because it can withstand the wear and tear of everyday life like coffee spills, lunchbox leaks, easy-to-remove sand and dirt.
In that way, the purchase has paid for itself tenfold. I didn't even know I could have a vehicle that required such little maintenance. Other than oil changes, I have not taken my car in for any maintenance whatsoever, and I drive a lot. The build quality is exceptional, and I feel very safe. Every time I see another Tax on the road, I think "it's so cute!" It is a smaller SUV but also has so much room in the front and back seats! I bought this car before getting married, and I can see it as a car that my family can grow into. The first thing I loved about the car was its body style. I'm not a car person, but I will try my best to discuss actual automotive details. Now, nearly two years later, it continues to blow me away and is hands down the best purchase I have ever made. I did not expect to fall in love with a vehicle there, but once I laid my eyes on the white Chevy Trax, I could not stop thinking about it. I went to Chevy to see if they had any used cars because I was fed up. It was unreliable, dated, and not functional. Prior to purchasing my 2016 Chevy Trax, I was at the mechanic at least once a month, pouring money into a car that was not keeping me safe.
